So they take the plunge and buy a pinball machine. Often, the reality of what they have bought is very different to the game they remembered playing. After years of heavy use in an arcade and then possible storage in less-than-ideal conditions, the game’s condition can be a far cry to the new game that was gleaming in that arcade all those years ago.

So how do you bring back the “glory days” to your battered pinball machine? If simply repairing it and cleaning it won’t do the job then consider a complete restoration. There are many products and techniques that can restore a pinball machine to “as new” or “nearly new” condition. A lot depends on the game title as to what parts are available – but most pinball machines can be substantially improved even if they cannot be fully “restored”.
